Now Instant presents the Los Angeles premiere of Elle Clay and Leilah Weinraub's Seek No Favor.
Seek No Favor
Lowkey, anxiety managing millennial, MONROE MALONE, lives in the bustling borough of Brooklyn. While trying to outrun her anxiety due to last year's job loss, she unexpectedly collides with an underground beauty supply cartel led by BIG BABY .
BIG BABY’s BUNDLE GANG has the hood shook after a string of weave snatchings leave the girls bald headed in the streets!
During a fateful day at the salon, Monroe overhears plans for Big Baby to kidnap hair inventor CAMILLE J WALKER to acquire her patent for a once in a generation invention, Infinite T rack. Monroe springs into action to reach Camille before it’s too late. Navigating online evidence trails, flocks of fashion fiends and self doubt, Monroe finds herself in a showdown with BIG BABY .
The encounter is bound to leave him not untouched by blood.
